Part of the adventure of getting to Sark is the boat trip. Sark is only accessible by sea, so travel to the island is by boat, from either of the neighboring islands, Guernsey or Jersey.
Isle of Sark Shipping runs a return passenger service direct from Guernsey daily throughout the year. During the summer season, there is also a boat service from Jersey with Manche Iles Express

One of the most popular ways to explore Sark, is by horse and carriage. Various tours are available, which will take you through the tree-lined avenues, to places of outstanding natural beauty.

It would be a mistake not to experience Sark from the sea. George Guille's Boat "Dorado" sets off from Creux harbour and takes visitors around the island, pointing out rare species of birdlife and the dark brooding caves at the foot of the cliffs.

Exploring Sark and the waters around it by kayak can be a big challenge. Tidal flows and the inaccessibility of some of the coastline make any journey around the coast a true kayaking adventure and an absolute delight!

Discover the Island by bike. Sark, being a car-free zone and only allowing horse-drawn carriages and tractors, makes it one of the safest places in the British Isles to get on your bike; it's a joy for cyclists. Visiting for a day or staying longer.
