In 2021 I moved to Sark in the English Channel Islands. My inspiration up to that point had come from the landscapes, people and wildlife of Tanzania, where I had lived since 1995. I am very excited now to be producing a new body of work inspired by life in these islands, especially Sark which is a fascinating mix of domesticity and a wild, windy and rugged coastline. I’m grateful to be welcomed into this special place, and hope to reflect in my art the emotions of the nature and humanity that surround me. I see my style is evolving with the changing inspiration, and I'm enjoying the journey.
