Part of the adventure of getting to Sark is the boat trip. Sark is only accessible by sea, so travel to the island is by boat, from either of the neighboring islands, Guernsey or Jersey.

Isle of Sark Shipping runs a return passenger service direct from Guernsey daily throughout the year. During the summer season, there is also a boat service from Jersey with Manche Iles Express

Sark being a car-free zone and only allowing horse-drawn carriages and tractors, makes it one of the safest places in the British Isles to get on your bike, its a joy for cyclists. Visiting for a day or staying longer a bike can be an essential way for you to get from A to B and visit some of Sark’s special places and coastal views, or maybe to one of the local pubs or restaurants, novice to advanced there is a good range of bikes for hire.
