Heather and her Mum used to come to the Mermaid every Friday afternoon to have their hair done, Sally-Ann had a salon in the house at the back ,they used to stop to chat with Jimmy, the monkey ,who lived in a cage in the corridir behind the bar. Two lovely ladies.

I remember your dog then was Leo , a big alsation, one night the barn door banged shut on his tail,and he lost half of it.Poor dog, he was in bandages for weeks.
